i dont get it bro. imo only idiots would put in 10 usd to have only 50 cents worth 5 years later. and i bet in another 5 years it will be worth 5 cents lol. they keep adding more and more coins to the pot yet only people benefiting is early adopters and the dev team of worldcoin lol.-

It’s quite a bit to unpack with Worldcoin. It moves in directions I wouldn’t move but I’ll be fair and state the pros and cons. Sam Altman with Open AI first takes something that should be nonprofit and makes it this capitalistic enterprise that’s now a monster and at this point I think he genuinely wants to fix it. So he gets all these billions to fund it and now you gotta pay these people back . It’s impressive in that its the first multi billion dollar ubi project or ubi anything we’ve ever seen. It’s kinda tough to get people to invest in ubi projects. It should either be a stable coin or be deflationary in my opinion. However Increasing coin supply not necessarily an issue if the growth rate keeps up. Inflation is not always bad but the problem is the identification process of world coin is so problematic for people and governments I don’t think the growth rate will get much higher. This is what Inexperience causes in the ubi world. UBI research is still lacking for many projects. I feel were the most knowledgeable and ultimately will have the most success in this area.-

I suppose ultimately as well how good many of these ubi projects do will come down to just how severe the automation issue is and how fast we can retrain a workforce . If the people even wanna be retrained as many are ready to crash out now. Lol. The money is less of the issue because they’ll find enough money to create a bubble anyplace. The real story is what exactly will the impact of AI be and are we prepared. As for myself I know I’m not interested in learning any new job skills period lol
