Released in 2001, RTCW’s multiplayer mode was a game-changer in the world of first-person shooters. With different classes to choose from, each with its own unique abilities and weapons, the multiplayer mode was fast-paced, intense, and required strategy and teamwork to succeed.
I have so many great memories of playing RTCW with my friends, trying out different strategies with my clan and working together in a 6 vs 6 format with stop-watch rules.

I even played in one of the top clans as the medic class which got 2:nd in Quakecon with the nick **Alban**. The game’s mechanics were so well-designed that even after all these years, I still consider it to be one of the best multiplayer games I’ve ever played.
As a gamer, I’ve played many games over the years, but RTCW has a special place in my heart. Now, more than 20 years later, I still wish there was a remake of RTCW with similar gameplay mechanics done in Unreal Engine 5. Can you imagine how amazing that would be? With modern graphics and updated gameplay, a new version of RTCW could introduce the game to a new generation of gamers while still keeping the spirit of the original game alive.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a game that I will always remember fondly. Its multiplayer mode was ahead of its time. I hope that one day we’ll see a similar game that does justice to the original. Anyone else agrees perhaps or am I the only one? What is your favorite game? Next game I want to post about is KDice:

KDice is a multiplayer strategy online game played in monthly competitions. It’s like Risk. The goal is to win every territory on the map.## Thanks for reading and may the Hive bee with you! 😉
